The Technical Commercial Manager, Pricing modeling &amp; Engineering role is responsible for driving pricing and margin analysis, translating technical requirements into commercial decisions, and serving as a key interface between U.S. sales teams and China-based engineering teams.This is not a coordination or support role. This position owns pricing insights, contributes to margin expansion, and ensures technical and commercial alignment across functions.Key ResponsibilitiesPricing &amp; Margin Ownership&middot; Develop, maintain, and improve pricing models across product lines&middot; Conduct detailed margin analysis and provide clear pricing recommendations&middot; Support strategic pricing decisions with data-driven insights&middot; Identify opportunities to improve profitability across key accounts and programsTechnical &amp; Engineering Interface&middot; Serve as the primary interface between U.S. teams and China-based engineering groups&middot; Translate technical specifications into commercial implications (cost, feasibility, lead time)&middot; Engage directly with design teams on electromechanical components and product requirements&middot; Ensure alignment between customer requirements and engineering capabilitiesForecasting &amp; Commercial Intelligence&middot; Extract and analyze monthly marketing forecasting data&middot; Translate forecasts into actionable insights for sales teams&middot; Support demand planning and identify risks or opportunities in the pipelineCross-Functional Leadership&middot; Lead coordination for automotive and key strategic programs&middot; Drive clarity and accountability across engineering, sales, and operations&middot; Facilitate technical-commercial discussions and ensure decisions move forward efficientlyExecutive Support (Strategic, Not Administrative)&middot; Support the VP of Engineering &amp; Transportation Sales with high-quality analysis and recommendations&middot; Reduce executive involvement in day-to-day pricing and coordination decisions&middot; Provide structured insights to support business and product strategyQualificationsRequired&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field&middot; 3&ndash;7 years of experience in an engineering, technical sales, or commercial analysis role&middot; Strong understanding of electromechanical components and engineering fundamentals&middot; Demonstrated experience in pricing, cost analysis, or margin management&middot; Ability to communicate effectively across technical and commercial audiences&middot; Must write and speak Mandarin and English wellPreferred&middot; Experience working with international teams, particularly in China&middot; Exposure to automotive, industrial, or energy markets&middot; Familiarity with forecasting models and demand planningSuccess Profile&middot; Confident communicator who can engage with engineering teams and sales stakeholders without constant direction&middot; Strong analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into decisions&middot; Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment&middot; Proactive, ownership-oriented, and able to drive outcomes independentlyWhat Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)&middot; Pricing decisions are supported by clear, structured analysis&middot; Margin improvement opportunities are identified and acted upon&middot; Communication between U.S. teams and Chinese engineering is efficient and reliable&middot; Monthly forecasting insights are consistently delivered and used by sales&middot; Reduced dependency on VP for pricing, coordination, and technical-commercial alignmentTravel Requirements&middot; Up to 25% domestic travel&middot; Limited international travel as needed (including China)Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Please describe your hands-on experience with pricing, cost analysis, or margin management in an engineering or technical product environment (e.g., electromechanical components, automotive, or industrial products).</li><li>Do you speak and write Chinese?</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>25% (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
