Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Performs general maintenance work (lights, electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.)</li>
<li>Demonstrates excellent mechanical skills</li>
<li>Understands HVAC and can operate and maintain equipment</li>
<li>Replenishes and maintains supply levels in work areas</li>
<li>Assures all tools, work areas, and equipment are clean, in proper working order, and properly stored.</li>
<li>Assures that the facility and all equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.</li>
<li>Consistently and routinely maintains and repairs equipment and documents any hazardous conditions</li>
<li>Routinely replaces light bulbs, exit lights, room call lights, etc. where needed</li>
<li>Conducts daily inspections of buildings, grounds and equipment to determine necessary maintenance and repairs</li>
<li>Assures that personnel follow established safety practices (OSHA) and maintain the organization of the physical plant of the facility.</li>
<li>Responsible for maintaining the general appearance of the building including but not limited to, assisting and cleaning up after events and general clean up during scheduled shift, arranging furniture on an ongoing basis.</li>
<li>Maintains a preventative maintenance log on all mechanical systems</li>
<li>Establishes and manages a compliance binder for permits, and inspections</li>
<li>Maintains an effective work-order system</li>
<li>Ensures a preventative maintenance log on all mechanical systems is maintained</li>
<li>Participates in in-services training as required by state regulations</li>
<li>Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information</li>
<li>Responsible for weekly submission of invoices and spend-down report on Excel spreadsheet</li>
<li>Performs other duties as required</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification</h2>
<ul><li>Fire and Life Safety Director License (T-89/F-89) preferred.</li>
<li>A minimum of one year experience in the maintenance professional area.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid Driver&rsquo;s License, preferable a Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License.</li></ul>
