Experience: Minimum 6 years as a Standing Counsel in any courtJob Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Records Keeper to support our legal department by managing and maintaining legal records, files, and documentation. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with internal policies and legal retention requirements, helping the legal team access accurate and up-to-date information efficiently.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain and organize legal files (physical and electronic) in accordance with records management policies.</li><li>Process, scan, categorize, and index legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and case files.</li><li>Track document versions and maintain secure, confidential record storage systems.</li><li>Assist with the implementation and monitoring of records retention schedules and destruction policies.</li><li>Ensure timely archiving or retrieval of documents for legal team use.</li><li>Respond to internal and external records requests under the direction of legal staff.</li><li>Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and compliance teams to ensure consistent and accurate recordkeeping practices.</li><li>Support legal audits and regulatory inquiries by providing requested documentation.</li><li>Maintain logs and databases related to legal cases, contracts, and compliance matters.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li><li>2+ years of experience in document or records management, preferably in a legal or corporate environment.</li><li>Familiarity with legal terminology and document types (e.g., contracts, pleadings, discovery).</li><li>Experience with document management systems (e.g., iManage, NetDocuments, SharePoint).</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Understanding of records retention laws and legal compliance requirements.</li><li>Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.</li><li>Knowledge of e-discovery and litigation support processes.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
