This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service while working in a dynamic retail setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair</li><li>Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, adhering to food safety and handling standards</li><li>Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions</li><li>Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality standards are met at all times</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and resolving concerns promptly</li><li>Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous barista experience or coffee industry background preferred; passion for coffee is a plus!</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking</li><li>Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food service and preparation</li><li>Basic understanding of food industry standards and retail operations</li></ul>Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm fuels great experiences!
