Assistant Manager - Housekeeping and FacilitiesLocation: Jigani &ndash; APC CircleDepartment: FacilitiesEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:Responsible for supporting the overall management and daily operations ofhousekeeping and facilities functions across the premises. Ensures higheststandards of cleanliness, maintenance, hygiene, safety, and efficient use ofresources.Key ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping:&#61623; Plan, oversee and monitor daily housekeeping activities for all office /facility areas.&#61623; Supervise and guide housekeeping staff; allocate duties and schedules.&#61623; Inspect and audit rooms/floors/work areas to ensure cleanliness and qualitystandards.&#61623; Coordinate with vendors for supply of housekeeping materials andconsumables.&#61623; Ensure implementation of cleaning SOPs, hygiene standards and proper useof equipment.Facilities Management:&#61623; Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of facilities such as security,cafeteria, pantry, waste disposal, pest control, etc.&#61623; Liaise with service providers and contractors for maintenance and repair ofbuilding infrastructure, electrical and mechanical systems.&#61623; Coordinate with internal departments for space planning, setup ofworkstations, meeting rooms and event setup arrangements.&#61623; Monitor operations of utilities and ensure preventive maintenance schedulesare followed.&#61623; Maintain inventory of supplies, consumables and maintain cost control inhousekeeping and facility areas.&#61623; Track and resolve facility- related complaints and requests in a timelymanner.&#61623; Prepare reports (daily/monthly) on housekeeping activities, maintenanceschedules and issue logs.&#61623; Conduct regular briefing sessions and ensure adherence to company policiesand guidelines.&#61623; Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory standards.Skills &amp; Competencies&#61623; Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and facility operations.&#61623; Excellent coordination and vendor management skills.&#61623; Good communication and leadership ability.&#61623; Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergencies.&#61623; Proficiency in MS Office and facility management systems.Qualifications &amp; Experience&#61623; Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management / Facilities Management orequivalent.&#61623; 4&ndash;6 years of experience in housekeeping / facility management with at least1&ndash;2 years in a supervisory role.&#61623; Languages: Hindi &amp; English is Compulsory.Kannada and other South IndianLanguages will be an added Advantage.About Company:Marble Centre International (MCI) is a Bangalore based leading brand for luxuryimported natural stones.
