The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Professional Services Consultant to join our global team. 


Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead database deployments, including design, configuration, migration, and integration.</li>
<li>Conduct architectural reviews and make recommendations for applications and databases, ensuring high availability and scalability.</li>
<li>Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and health checks to maximize reliability and efficiency.</li>
<li>Act as a trusted advisor in a client-facing, consultative capacity, providing guidance on scaling, architectural improvements, and database best practices.</li>
<li>Create and deliver comprehensive technical documentation, project plans, and reports toensure project transparency and customer success.</li>
<li>Mentor and educate customers and internal teams on MySQL/MariaDB database features, tools, and best practices.</li>
<li>Administer and maintain SQL databases and Linux environments with a hands-on approach.</li></ul> 


Requirements
<ul>
<li>8+ years of experience with MySQL/MariaDB.</li>
<li>Bilingual Arabic &amp; English expertise</li>
<li>Proven expertise in end-to-end database migrations.</li>
<li>Extensive experience leading database deployments, including design, configuration, migration, and integration.</li>
<li>Strong track record in conducting architectural reviews and making recommendations for high availability and database optimization.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and health checks.</li>
<li>Strong consultative and client-facing skills, with the ability to recommend and implement database best practices and scaling solutions.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Experience creating detailed technical documentation, project plans, and reports.</li>
<li>Proven ability to mentor customers and internal teams on MySQL/MariaDB features and best practices.</li>
<li>Hands-on administration and maintenance experience for SQL databases and Linux environments</li></ul> 


Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Experience working in an enterprise environment or for large-scale projects.</li>
<li>Certification in MySQL, MariaDB, or related database technologies.</li>
<li>Experience with Oracle and Oracle migrations.</li></ul>
