The Opportunity 
The Senior C++ Database Engine Developer solves the problem of developing software solutions by leveraging their programming skills and experience. They contribute to the design and implementation of software applications, ensuring high code quality, performance, and reliability. They collaborate with the team to solve technical challenges, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve their technical skills. Senior C++ Database Engine Developers are critical in delivering robust software solutions that meet customer needs and align with project requirements.<div> 

Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Develop high-quality software solutions based on technical requirements and design specifications</li><li>Investigate important bugs and deliver solutions rapidly</li><li>Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency</li><li>Support the continuous development process</li><li>Stay updated on programming languages, frameworks, and industry best practices.</li></ul></div><div> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>You have participated in database engine development.</li><li>You actually implemented multi-thread parallel processing written in C++ on multiple remote nodes in production.</li><li>You know how to profile C++ runtime memory consumption and don't hesitate to attach with gdb to a running process.</li><li>You use the C++20 standard since 2020 and C++17 since 2017.</li><li>You know how to use CMake for multitarget builds and distinguish static and dynamic linkage.</li><li>You actually use a linter when scripting in Bash and know what is rm -rf /${MY_PROJECT_TEMP_DIR} used for.</li><li>You know how to fix the library's requirements for the Python project.</li><li>You are experienced in software development within a Linux environment.</li><li>You exactly know what the word amortized means in a description of complexity for a hashmap insert.</li><li>You know how to write an example of a correlated semi-join SQL query.</li><li>You have funny stories about git-reflog used for the last time.</li><li>You have written and verbal communication skills in English.</li><li>You have soft skills communicating in a distributed team.</li></ul></div>
