 Maron Marvel has an immediate opening for an associate attorney to join its Jersey City office. We are seeking a civil litigator for our Jersey City litigation practice group. Successful candidates will have exceptional research, writing, and litigation skills, and the ability to handle a broad spectrum of civil cases.
 
 
 
 Job Duties And Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proactive case management from start to finish in both state and federal courts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drafting of pleadings, written discovery, and dispositive motions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and strategy recommendations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deposition taking of key fact witnesses including Plaintiffs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparation of case updates and handling of client communications as requested.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work closely with paralegals to ensure efficient case management.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
 </li>
 <li>
 Admitted in the State of New Jersey Bar &amp; New York
 </li>
 <li>
 3-5 years litigation experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability and desire to manage caseload proactively from start to finish.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong work ethic, ability to self-manage and work in a team environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong research ability and written and oral communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Desire to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to continued client development.
 </li>
