<div>The Hotel Accounting Manager oversees the daily financial operations of a hotel, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, income auditing, and cash management. They ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain internal controls (GAAP compliance), and produce monthly financial statements. This role typically requires a degree in accounting/finance and proficiency in property management systems (PMS). 
 
 
 
Compensation:
$50,000 - $55,000 yearly 
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Financial Reporting: Prepare daily operating reports, monthly balance sheets, and profit-and-loss statements.</li><li>
Cash and Assets Management: Reconcile bank accounts, manage cash receipts, and monitor the daily night audit.</li><li>
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee vendor payments and manage credit/billing for groups and direct-billed clients.</li><li>
Internal Controls &amp; Compliance: Implement procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with tax regulations.</li><li>
Budgeting &amp; Forecasting: Assist in creating annual budgets and preparing forecasts.</li><li>
Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor the accounting staff.</li></ul> 
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related experience.</li><li>
Experience: Proven experience as an accountant, ideally in the hospitality industry.</li><li>
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/hotel systems (e.g., PMS, POS).</li><li>
Attributes: Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.</li><li>
Marriott experience ideal.</li></ul>
