Job Overview:
The Finance Coordinator will provide comprehensive financial support to the Health, Life, and P&amp;C practices to fully support their flash, invoicing, and financial reporting and analysis functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The Finance Coordinator will work closely with the regional leaders and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage monthly flash process for designated P&amp;Ls
<ul><li>Work with project managers each month to determine and record flash entries (current invoice, future invoice, bill ahead applied) by project and provide details of recognized revenue by project and in the aggregate
</li><li>Track WIP and foster timely invoicing of clients by project managers
</li></ul>Create and send invoices on a monthly basis within designated timeframes
<ul><li>Maintain compliance with internal policies and maintain proper documentation for all invoices (i.e., provide draft copies, obtain peer review, etc.)
</li><li>Track invoices and follow up on past due amounts to foster timely collections
</li></ul>Provide monthly reports to stakeholders detailing key business metrics (utilization, realization, project profitability)
<ul><li>Provide other ad-hoc reports to stakeholders, as requested
</li></ul>Perform monthly analysis of key metrics and drivers
<ul><li>Monitor monthly and YTD results against budgets; identify areas where results appear to be trending outside of acceptable levels
</li><li>Investigate and highlight utilization and profitability trends/issues
</li><li>Validate data feeds to OW Data &amp; Analytics, as necessary
</li></ul>Create Excel reports to aid in the financial management of the practice
Manage payment requests, refunds, unapplied funds, and write-off requests
<ul><li>Research and develop current procedures, establish best practices, and streamline existing processes
</li></ul>Experience Required:
<ul><li>BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
</li><li>Experience with the Flash process and invoicing
</li><li>1-2 years&rsquo; experience in a financial or highly analytical role preferred, performing P&amp;L reporting, forecasting and budgeting
</li><li>Must be comfortable working with and manipulating large amounts of data, creating reports and perform data analysis, including validating data feeds and generating financial management reports. Ability to learn Macros is preferable
</li><li>Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
</li><li>Experience with Tableau or other BI tools, SalesForce, SmartView a plus
</li></ul>Skills and Attributes:
<ul><li>Strong financial and analytical skills
</li><li>Proven experience in a role requiring a high degree of organizational skill and attention to detail
</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills

</li></ul>The applicable base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $95,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements . Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

SUMMARY:
As a Client Administrator I on the Spindler-Barios team, the primary focus is to provide technical support to Client Executives and to clients in maintaining insurance policies in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined by the Business Insurance manual and by the Director of Client Services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Process paperwork for new and renewal business to include:</li>
<li>Prep Acord forms and other documents required for a submission.</li>
<li>Maintain client level details in agency management system.</li>
<li>Binders</li>
<li>Management and production of renewal certificates</li>
<li>Policies</li>
<li>Invoices</li>
<li>Finance agreements</li>
<li>Endorsements</li>
<li>Audits</li>
<li>Perform account reconciliation.</li>
</ul>With more experience:
<ul><li>Assist in the processing of final audits.</li>
<li>Become proficient in the use of technology systems, software, and tools such as ImageRight and Sagitta</li>
<li>Establish and maintain positive and effective working relations with other associates and clients.</li>
</ul>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
<ul><li>A high school diploma and 1-2 years insurance related experience or professional office experience.</li>
<li>Obtain and maintain a valid Alaska Business Insurance License.</li>
<li>Obtain a Surplus Lines License in the first 2 years.</li>
<li>Achieve an AINS or INS Designation as well as have willingness to pursue continuing education in the form of insurance designations and professional development training.</li>
<li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)</li>
<li>Must maintain a high attention to detail when working at a varying pace and managing multiple tasks with adjusting priorities.</li>
<li>Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff.</li>
