</div></div><p></p><div><div>Reporting to the Director of Project Engineering, the successful candidate will develop and implement optimal, cost-effective automated manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Coordinates and supervises manufacturing launch for new or revised products. High energy, a strong sense of curiosity and hands-on mechanical experience is required.
</div></div><p></p><div><div>Specific Responsibilities Include:</div></div><ul><li><div>
Performs research, design, and development of manufacturing processes and product designs</div></li><li><div>
Evaluates business cases for new manufacturing processes and product designs, presents recommendations to upper management</div></li><li><div>
Creates new designs to solve difficult manufacturing problems</div></li><li><div>
Designs or sources production equipment, robotic systems and automation equipment</div></li><li><div>
Prepares detailed CAD models and drawings to facilitate fabrication</div></li></ul><div><div>
Qualifications of the Position Include:</div></div><ul><li><div>
5 years of progressive manufacturing/mechanical engineering experience in a manufactured products environment</div></li><li><div>
Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills in a manufacturing environment</div></li><li><div>
Experience designing machines and machine components including but not limited to shafts, bearings, motors, frames, fixturing, etc.</div></li><li><div>
Direct experience with 2 or more of the following manufacturing processes: forging, stamping, casting, welding, machining, assembly and injection molding.</div></li><li><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering</div></li><li><div>
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team orientation</div></li></ul><p>
