<p><b>What you&rsquo;ll be doing</b></p>
<p>Join us on this mission as a Production Brazer/Welder undertaking a variety of welding &amp; brazing operations required in the assembly of parts or sub-assemblies and carrying out any welding required by maintenance.</p>
<p>Aspects of the role will include</p>
<ul><li>Brazing of low temperature silver and high temperature brass work including stud plates, trombone tubes and single end fitting pipes.</li>
<li>Carry out welding of aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel to AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1 certification standards.</li>
<li>Set and operate the spot welder, deburr, polish clean and carry out ball bearing tests on all welding and brazing work to required standards.</li>
<li>To carry out Proof of Concept and other development welding activities as required</li>
<li>To carry out welding work in support of the maintenance team as required.</li>
</ul><p><b>Characteristics &amp; Skills</b></p>
<ul><li>Engineering background</li>
<li>Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.</li>
<li>Able to use Measuring equipment, gas cutters and grinders and Gas Tungsten Arc equipment</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with engineering hand tools</li>
<li>Certified to BS EN:12797:2000 and AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1</li>
