The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair. This role is well-suited for a technician who takes pride in their work, values doing repairs correctly the first time, and wants to work in a professional, well-organized shop environment.As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing vehicle concerns, performing quality repairs, and contributing to a positive customer experience. Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, tools, and service information is essential to maintaining efficiency, safety, and high standards of workmanship.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles.</li><li>Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.</li><li>Utilize power tools and equipment safely to execute repairs and maintenance tasks.</li><li>Align wheels and adjust vehicle components as needed to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot problems effectively.</li><li>Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs and parts required.</li><li>Repair diesel engines as necessary, demonstrating specialized knowledge in diesel engine repair.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.</li><li>Actively maintain Certifications required for position</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of automotive service processes and procedures.</li><li>Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment.</li><li>Experience with vehicle maintenance tasks across various makes and models.</li><li>Knowledge of diesel engine repair is a plus but not mandatory.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>BENEFITS<ul><li>Health Insurance offering: HAP Gold+ (includes Dental and Vision coverage.) Monthly contribution from employer to employer offered plan up to $500. Employee responsible for any additional amounts and added family member&rsquo;s additional cost.</li><li>401K with match. Eligible after 3 months of employment.
