 About The Role
 
 
 
 The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing direct administrative and programmatic support to the Executive Director and Program Directors of Intersection of Change&rsquo;s three programs. This position works closely with the directors to support the operation of the organization&rsquo;s community development programming.
 
 
 
 Duties
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Work with the Executive Director to support overall organization work and support the Martha&rsquo;s Place, Jubilee Arts, and Strength to Love II program directors
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform a variety of tasks related to the daily operations including but not limited to:
 </li>
 <li>
 General correspondence and donor acknowledgement letters
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and maintain files on funders, clients, vendors, accounts receivable, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and organize records and documents for internal use and external accounting support
 </li>
 <li>
 Welcome and assist people at the front desk, answer telephone calls, greet visitors and manage front desk reception
 </li>
 <li>
 Meeting support and note taking as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Pick up and sort mail
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain office equipment and supply orders
 </li>
 <li>
 Set up meeting rooms and arranges for in-house meetings as needed or assigned
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High school diploma required; two years of administrative experience in lieu of degree. Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Knowledge
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Asana
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to manage websites is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience maintaining databases, records and administrative systems strongly preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Marketing and outreach skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Graphic design, such as creating fliers, newsletter or basic visual materials are a plus
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Skills And Abilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ability to multitask and coordinate activities with other staff to meet overall objectives within specified timeframes
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to manage and prioritize large volumes of activity and workload
 </li>
 <li>
 Possesses strong professional judgement and problem-solving skills, conflict resolution skills strongly preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Consistently achieve accuracy, timeliness, and follow-up on tasks
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interact positively and compassionately with clients and their families as well as the volunteers, the public, staff, and board
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills including editing and creating original materials
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong and accurate keyboarding/data entry skills
 </li>
