</p><p>Marymount seeks to build a pool of persons qualified to fulfill specific part-time teaching roles, as assigned, within the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. These roles are tutorial leaders, lab instructors and part-time lecturers.</p><p><b><br>
Primary Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Teaching as a tutorial leader.</li><li>
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in assigned discipline</li><li>
Prepare and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction (in-person, hybrid, or online as assigned)</li><li>
Develop syllabi and course materials aligned with departmental standards</li><li>
Assess student performance and provide timely feedback</li><li>
Maintain regular communication with students and department leadership</li><li>
Uphold university academic policies and integrity standards</li></ul><p><b><br>
Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Licensed Physical Therapist</li><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree in the teaching discipline or closely related field (Doctorate preferred for graduate-level instruction)</li><li>
Demonstrated expertise or professional experience in the subject area</li><li>
Strong communication and instructional skills</li><li>
Commitment to inclusive excellence and student success</li></ul><p><b><br>
Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Online teaching experience; advanced certification</li><li>
Prior college-level teaching experience</li><li>
Experience with learning management systems and online teaching platforms</li><li>
Professional licensure or industry certifications (where applicable)</li><li>

Compensation/Benefits</b></p><p>
Adjuncts receive remuneration on a semester basis, and may range from $1,200/credit hour. They may make their own contribution to a 403b retirement plan.<br>

The Part Time Barista at Marymount University provides outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role involves expertly preparing and serving a variety of coffee, espresso drinks, and food items to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and food service, along with a commitment to creating a welcoming and positive campus experience for everyone.</div></div><div><br>
Key Responsibilities</div><ul><li>Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Handle customer inquiries, take orders, and recommend menu items.</li><li>Coffee Preparation: Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, etc.), brewed coffee, teas, and other beverages according to standardized recipes.</li><li>Food Service: Serve a variety of pre-prepared or made-to-order food items such as sandwiches, pastries, salads, and snacks. Maintain a clean and organized food station.</li><li>Cash Handling: Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately, including processing credit/debit cards and cash payments. Maintain proper cash drawer balance.</li><li>Health &amp; Safety: Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for both employees and customers.</li><li>Inventory Management: Assist in stocking supplies and ingredients, and help monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for daily operations.</li><li>Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, seating areas, and equipment.
