ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, CURRICULUM AND FACULTY SUPPORT, Registrar&rsquo;s Office - Curriculum and Faculty Support (CFS), will perform complex duties supporting undergraduate education committees (e.g., Committee on the Undergraduate Program) and two curriculum development grants: the d&rsquo;Arbeloff Fund and Education Innovation Funds including Committees &amp; Reform: Attend meetings and compose notes. Draft reports, policies, and correspondence. Research educational policy issues to brief faculty committees. Manage meeting schedules, logistics (rooms, remote setup, food), and physical/digital archives; Grants Management: Help develop production calendars. Serve as the primary contact for applicants, recipients, and alumni. Maintain proposal records, tracking databases, and collect submissions. Draft funding guidelines and award letters and collect final reports; and General Support: Collaborate to update website content. Schedule complex appointments for faculty, staff, and students. Handle office recordkeeping, supply inventory, backup coverage, and special projects.

</div><div>Job Requirements 

REQUIRED: High school diploma and three years of office experience, preferably in higher education; and excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities across diverse groups; strong time management to prioritize concurrent projects under deadlines; meticulous accuracy with confidential data essential; and proficient with software and comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a hybrid environment. PREFERRED: Meeting minutes experience MIT and undergraduate education knowledge.</div></div>

REQUIRED: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in English, communications, journalism, or similar field; a minimum of five years of professional communications experience in higher education or at a research institution or in journalism, public relations, or marketing; experience planning and implementing communications strategies; ability to communicate, edit, and present concisely and clearly (written and spoken); experience with print and digital communication, user interface trends, and web design best practices; ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear language (experience in science journalism a plus); ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team, build productive relationships with faculty/staff/external audiences; experience with social media content creation, monitoring, metrics, and reporting; discretion with confidential information; demonstrated design skills and proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite and other modern tools; and experience using HTML and CMS. PREFERRED: Master&rsquo;s degree.
May be required to work on nights and weekends. Limited travel may also be required.</div></div>
