 Job Description
 
 
 
 The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company&rsquo;s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support business objectives. This role combines creative storytelling with data-driven decision-making to build a strong, consistent brand presence across all social platforms.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities

 Strategy, Planning &amp; Leadership
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify target audiences, trends, and platform opportunities to optimize performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and campaign alignment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and manage a social content specialist to assist in social channel strategy execution.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Content Creation &amp; Management
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Using in-house content development teams, this role will ideate, curate, and manage engaging, high-quality content for social media channels (copywriting, images, videos, stories, reels, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to produce platform-specific content.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure brand voice and visual identity are consistent across all channels.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Community Engagement
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Monitor and respond to audience interactions, comments, and messages promptly and professionally.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster community engagement and manage brand reputation online.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactively engage with relevant industry conversations and influencers.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Analytics &amp; Optimization
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay current with and deploy social media best practices, tools, and emerging platforms.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Campaigns &amp; Paid Advertising
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage paid social campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts into larger campaigns.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
 </li>
 <li>
 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand or agency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube) and their respective audiences.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of paid social advertising and performance optimization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Creative mindset with an eye for design and brand aesthetics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
