 Maintenance Technician II Position
 
 
 
 Master Meter is a leading manufacturer of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) products (water meters) for the water utility industry.  This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mansfield, TX. Standard work hours are 8 am &ndash; 5 pm, Monday &ndash; Friday.

 Maintenance Technician II Position Summary:
 
 
 
 
 Perform maintenance on all plant machinery (compressed air system, HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, etc.). Utilize proper skilled techniques to ensure the safe, efficient, and long-term operation of all plant machinery. Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all necessary reports and paperwork including documenting work performed.
 
 
 
 
 Duties/Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Follow assigned work requirements and schedules, to include repair and PM (Preventative Maintenance) needs
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain, repair or replace equipment, perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical and building repair work in production and office areas
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical parts; responsible for greasing bearings, changing shafts, etc
 </li>
 <li>
 Operate a forklift as required (certification will be provided)
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify necessary parts, tools, equipment, etc. for completion of assigned job and place requests to Facility Coordinator for missing items
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain organization of spare parts and supplies on the shelf for plant equipment and maintain/update parts inventory (quantity and value matches with the records) as necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Document work performed into Computer Maintenance Management System
 </li>
 <li>
 Support an environment of continuous improvement by making/implementing suggestions
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain close coordination with maintenance team and or production department to report equipment breakdowns and other production related opportunities
 </li>
 <li>
 Through implementation and execution of company safety initiatives, create an environment where safety is a primary concern. Follow all rules and procedures to maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulation that affect Master Meter operations
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other related duties as assigned
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Education and Experience:
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of 3 years of maintenance work experience in an industrial environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Display hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical aptitude
 </li>
 <li>
 Possess current/valid driver&rsquo;s license and a good driving record
 </li>
 <li>
 Display process-driven mentality
 </li>
 <li>
 Display ability to plan pro-actively and adhere to a schedule
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel)
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 Physical Requirements:
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 pounds and load/unload product from truck without assistance
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to stand for extended periods of time on concrete floor
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ pounds
 </li>
 <li>
 Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions which may include extremely hot/cold temperatures
