Job Summary:</b></div><div>
The Automotive Technician III is a senior-level role responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, heavy-line repairs, and specialized mechanical services on a variety of vehicles, with a focus on diesel engines. This position is purely focused on hands-on technical work, tackling the most complex challenges, including intricate electrical and drivability issues, diesel systems, and heavy-duty components. The Technician III ensures all repairs are performed with precision, efficiency, and to the highest standard of quality.</div><div><b>
Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Focuses on purely mechanical repair and diagnostics.</li><li>
Perform heavy-line repair services, including engine and transmission work.</li><li>
Conduct complex drivability diagnostics and repairs.</li><li>
Diagnose and repair intricate electrical systems.</li><li>
Perform full diagnostics and repairs on auto HVAC systems.</li><li>
Complete in-depth maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.</li><li>
Service heavy-duty braking systems and heavy-duty steering and suspension systems.</li><li>
Perform precise vehicle alignments.</li><li>
Handle welding and exhaust repair tasks as needed.</li><li>
Conduct detailed multi-point inspections to identify all necessary repairs.</li><li>
Perform vehicle upfitting and modification for special projects.</li><li>
Examine customer vehicles to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.</li><li>
Document all services performed accurately and efficiently.</li><li>
Effectively utilize available technologies to diagnose and repair vehicles.</li><li>
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.</li><li>
Participate in required training to stay current with new technology.</li><li>
Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.</li><li>

Required Education and Experience:</b></div><ul><li>
Seven or more years of job experience as an Automotive Service Technician.</li><li>
Diesel engine training &amp; experience</li><li>
Must have most tools to complete jobs.</li></ul><div>

Preferred Education/Experience/Certifications:</b></div><ul><li>
ASE certifications are a plus.</li><li>
DOT inspection license is a plus.</li><li>
MVI license is a plus.</li><li>
A/C certification is a plus.</li><li>
Class B CDL with passenger endorsement, or able to obtain in 6 months.</li><li>
Bilingual English/Spanish.</li></ul><div>

The Porter CDL driver is extremely detailed, exhibits a high sense of accountability for workload, and enjoys process improvement and management. The Porter CDL manages multiple tasks and priorities and is a self-motivated individual who can actively engage and is accountable for the safety and security of all company property under their care. In this role, you will move and park buses, vans and other vehicles on our lot, in addition to delivering them to various locations within the metropolitan area of the designated branch. As a porter, your duties include keeping track of parked vehicles and making sure that the parking lot is neat and presentable. To ensure success as a porter, you should exhibit safe driving skills and have experience working with fleet vehicles and internal and external customers. Ultimately, a top-notch car porter is someone who can be entrusted with valuable property.</p><p><b><br>
Essential Functions:</b></p><ul><li>
Assist in organizing the parking lot daily.</li><li>
Using the radios provided for each shuttle following guidelines and using proper radio etiquette</li><li>
Adhering to the established routes</li><li>
Doing a Check-Out/Return on every vehicle for Rental.</li><li>
Noting damage to units upon return.</li><li>
Keep the back lot organized.</li><li>
Bring vehicles in when needed.</li><li>
Pick up customer vehicles.</li><li>
Fueling vehicles and topping off fluids when necessary.</li><li>
Assisting Detailer as needed.</li></ul><p><b>
