With a membership base spanning across metals, paper, plastics, e-waste, and other circular economy sectors, MRAI works closely with various Ministries of the Government of India, NITI Aayog, and global trade bodies to promote sustainable recycling practices, policy reforms, and circular economy initiativesAbout the Role:MRAI is seeking a qualified Company Secretary (Fresher/experienced 1-2 years) who is eager to build a career in corporate governance, government relations, and sectoral coordination with the Government. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, assisting in Board functions, and supporting MRAI&rsquo;s coordination with various government departments and specializing in particular sectors of the Recycling IndustryThis role offers a unique opportunity to combine secretarial, administrative, and public policy exposure in one of India&rsquo;s most dynamic trade associations as part of MRAI&rsquo;s strategic expansion into new verticals, such as Used Oil, Tyre &amp; Rubber, ELV, Carbon Credits, C&amp;D Waste, Critical Minerals, Textiles, Agriculture Waste and Liquid Waste.Key Responsibilities:Company Secretarial and Legal Profile:&gt; Assist in conducting Board and General Body Meetings.&gt; Draft agendas, notices, resolutions, and minutes in compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.&gt; Maintain statutory registers, records, and filings under the Companies Act and related regulations.&gt; Support compliance with MRAI&rsquo;s Articles of Association, Code of Conduct, and Governance framework.&gt; Coordinate with external auditors, legal advisors, and regulators as required.&gt; Contract Drafting and vetting based on need.Data Collection &amp; Mapping:&gt; Identify and build databases of stakeholders including recyclers, aggregators, manufacturers, and government bodies.&gt; Track waste generation, collection trends, recycling practices, and recovery technologies.Monitoring &amp; Analysis:&gt; Monitor industry developments, regulatory updates, and best practices in the sector.&gt; Analyse collected data to identify policy gaps, investment potential, and sustainability outcomes.Reporting &amp; Documentation:&gt; Prepare white papers, policy briefs, dashboards, and analytical reports for internal and external stakeholders.&gt; Support the development of recycling roadmaps and national-level position papers.Stakeholder Engagement:&gt; Liaise with industry players, ministries, academic institutions, and technology providers.&gt; Represent MRAI in events, consultations, and policy roundtables.Program Implementation Support:&gt;Contribute to pilot programs, workshops, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building efforts in your vertical.Other:&gt; Any other work allottedRequired Skills &amp; Qualifications:&gt; Qualified Company Secretary&gt; 1&ndash;2 years of work post qualification experience and proper knowledge of maintenance of register, MCA filings, Minutes drafting, etc.&gt; Well-read with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and reporting.&gt; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.&gt; Self-motivated with an ability to work across diverse sectors and teams.Job Types: Full-time, FresherPay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;40,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
