<p><b>Mathnasium changes lives through math. </b>We are hiring exceptional tutors to join our Encino Park Center team! Mathnasium instructors are motivated, responsible, passionate math experts who help students build number sense, boost confidence, and gain a deep understanding of math. Job responsibilities include creating a positive, engaging, and fun learning center environment, learning and implementing the Mathnasium curriculum and teaching methods, and participating in ongoing training.</p><p><b>Why should you become a Mathnasium instructor?</b></p><ul><li>Pay starting at $12.00-$13.50/hour</li><li>Consistent, flexible schedule: 8-15 hours/week on average</li><li>Tutor students in math at all grade levels 1-12</li><li>All work is in center - no lessons to plan or homework to assign</li><li>Deepen your understanding through extensive training in the Mathnasium Method</li></ul><p><b>Job Requirements</b></p><ul><li>You must be at least 16 years old</li><li>You must plan to work with us for at least 9 months</li><li>Experience tutoring or working with children in grades 1-12 preferred</li><li>Math proficiency through Algebra 2 required, Pre-Calculus/Calculus preferred</li></ul><p><b>Application Process</b></p><ul><li>Start by completing our short, mobile-friendly online application. You may either attach your resume or type a summary of your education and work experience.</li><li>Part of the application will be taking an in person employment test, which covers basic math through Algebra 2 and Geometry. The test takes up to 2 hours to complete. No calculator is allowed. If your application is moved forward, the center director will reach out to you to schedule the test.</li><li>If you meet the benchmark score of 85% on our employment test, you will be invited to an interview with our Center Director. </div><div><b>Job Description:</b> We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Assistant Center Director to support our team in Acton, MA. As an Assistant Center Director, you will have full responsibility for leading teams of Instructors and Lead Instructors while working collaboratively with the Center Director to help K-12 students learn, understand, and excel in math. As an Assistant Center Director you will have a passion for: leading community outreach to help grow a youth enrichment business, recruiting &amp; developing talent, and promoting the application of technology to deliver customized learning plans to K-12 students. You will play a key role fostering a positive and engaging learning environment that inspires a passion for STEM. In this role, you will be a parent-facing leader in our learning Center and be looked upon to nurture and grow trust-based relationships with parents, local schools, community organizations, and social influencers who share a passion for math. From Math Nights to activity-based learning, you will celebrate student success and promote fun in everything you do.<br>

</div><ul><li>Make learning math fun for students</li>
<li>Find joy helping K-12 students to improve their understanding of math</li>
<li>Promote the use and application of technology to facilitate custom, individualized digital learning plans based on each student's needs and learning style</li>
<li>Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for parents &amp; students</li>
<li>Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support that encourages professional growth through oral and written channels
</li><li>Collaborate with other centers and staff to ensure the success of all students</li>
<li>Embrace the challenge of achieving aggressive enrollment growth targets</li>
<li>Promote fun and positive change through creative marketing and social media channels</li>
<li>Enjoy applying continuous improvement methodology to assess and improve internal and external processes used to onboard new students</li>
<li>Actively manage inbound sales funnel leads and apply creative techniques to accelerate conversion rates over time</li>
<li>Take ownership of Google Business Profile and Microsite content</li>
<li>Monitor active enrollments and manage payment reconciliation throughout the calendar year</li>
<li>Participate in community events that promote engagement with parents, schools, and community stakeholders</li>
<li>Seek out professional growth opportunities that help advance your leadership and influencing skills</li>
