 Contingent Strategic Sourcing Manager - Remote
 
 
 
 
 This is a 5 month contract, full-time (40 hours/week), remote role with core availability required between 8am - 5pm pacific coast hours.
 
 
 
 
 Summary
 
 
 
 We are seeking a hands-on, highly responsive, and detail-oriented Strategic Sourcing Manager to support fast-paced, high-turnaround procurement needs. This role is critical for ensuring efficient execution of sourcing requests across multiple business areas while maintaining compliance and process integrity. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, serving as a reliable point of contact for internal stakeholders and vendors.
 
 
 
 Our Ideal Candidate
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or strategic sourcing within fast-paced or technology-driven environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Passion for procurement and vendor management with a strong foundation in sourcing execution, contract coordination, and supplier engagement
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in Workday, ServiceNow, and other ticketing or sourcing platforms, with strong organizational and project management skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiar with RFP/RFQ processes, vendor evaluation, and procurement compliance
 </li>
 <li>
 Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including Technology, Marketing, Finance, Legal, People, and M&amp;A
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to work independently, manage multiple requests simultaneously, and prioritize competing priorities
 </li>
 <li>
 Flexible and adaptable to shifting business needs and timelines
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and the ability to create structure in ambiguous situations

 Job Description
 
 
 
 In this role, you will own rapid-turnaround sourcing requests with minimal guidance, ensuring timely and accurate execution. You&rsquo;ll partner with multiple business stakeholders to manage procurement processes, lead sourcing events, and onboard vendors efficiently. This includes:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Managing and maintaining sourcing tickets and documentation in internal systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicating progress, bottlenecks, and resolutions to stakeholders via Slack and ticketing tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Driving alignment across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Security, and functional teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Supporting spend forecasting, supplier rationalization, and strategic sourcing initiatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Continuously identifying process improvements to enhance throughput and operational efficiency
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Education And Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Background in procurement, sourcing, or strategic vendor management
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in high-growth or technology environments is a plus
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Additional Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 This opportunity is remote, with core Pacific Coast hours required between 10:00am&ndash;2:00pm PST, Monday&ndash;Friday
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to handle workload spikes and provide back-to-back leave coverage independently
 </li>
 <li>
 The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $47-$49.70 per hour
 </li>
 <li>
 This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) based on tenure and hours worked
