OVERVIEW
Join our team as a Civil/Structural Engineering Co-op.
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Civil/Structural Engineering Co-op to join our team. This is a technical co-op. The co-op performs assignments which have clear and specified objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of variables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
<ul><li>Works in a safe manner at all times. Adheres to both Matrix and client established safety standards when appropriate.</li><li>
Acts in a support role to the project engineer or technical lead. Assigned small tasks which are checked upon completion and before moving onto the next task.</li><li>
Works with more experienced project team members or design projects.</li><li>
Generate CAD drawings based on detailed design provided by an experienced project team member.</li><li>
Follow company design standards.</li><li>
Identify and use appropriate tool for each application.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
Must be a college student enrolled in a technical degree program. Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.</li><li>
Ability to travel: &lt;10%</li></ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
<ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk, and hear.</li><li>
The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.</li><li>
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.</li><li>
This employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to hazardous locations, inclement weather, moving mechanical parts, noise, ladders, uneven ground, and stairs.</li><li>
This employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to a wide range of known food allergens.</li></ul>

We offer market-competitive compensation for an AI Co-op with an hourly range of $22.00 to $24.00/hourly, and a total compensation package that includes quarterly bonuses, 401(k) matching, and overtime pay. Salaries are based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
