<div>Job Overview: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall facility, operations, and personnel including Home Delivery drivers. The Manager leads a team of employees and one supervisor, motivating them to meet company goals while also upholding standards for safety, quality, and productivity. The manager also oversees all home delivery operations for their respective region to include customer interactions, route planning, and drive team management. 
What You Will Do:<ul><li>
Builds and promotes a culture and environment that is safe, open, and engaging to all employees.</li><li>
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures with focus on continuous improvement.</li><li>
Complies with federal, state, and local laws pertaining to warehouse, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.</li><li>
Ensures a safe work environment for all associates with robust Safety Program to create accident-free work areas.</li><li>
Provides DOT expertise to ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local requirements.</li><li>
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.</li><li>
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.</li><li>
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees to specific job functions and monitoring work results.</li><li>
Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.</li><li>
Contributes team effort by performing and accomplishing all related job functions within the warehouse and delivery operations as needed.</li></ul> 
 What you Will Need<ul><li>
Strong knowledge of inventory control processes.</li><li>
Formal DOT training preferred</li><li>
Management reporting (financial, production, safety, performance)</li><li>
Demonstrated experience in a warehouse environment utilizing technology (e.g., layout, slotting, scanning, bin locations etc.)</li><li>
Routing software experience for planning, scheduling, and route optimization for customer stops.</li><li>
Knowledge of project management and continuous improvement principles.</li><li>
5+ years of warehouse/distribution, logistics, and delivery experience preferred</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license within state of operation</li></ul>
