 The
 
 Starbucks Barista
 
 is responsible for creating the Starbucks experience for our customers by providing legendary customer service with prompt service, quality beverages and products, while maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.
 
 
 
 In this role you will:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture, values and mission of Maverick Gaming and Starbucks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standards and to set a positive example for the shift team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create the Third-Place environment during each shift.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in associate morale and performance and communicate them to the store manager.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discover and respond to customer needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow Starbucks and Maverick Gaming operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and products as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
 </li>
 <li>
 Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational methods.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create a friendly atmosphere for guests and team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform related and/or other duties as required.

 Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

 Ability to work with Point of Sale (POS) system.
 </li>

 Ability to prioritize and organize, uses time efficiently.
 </li>

 Posses basic math skills and have the ability to handle money.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification as needed.
 </li>

 Strong interpersonal skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Resolve problems using good judgment, displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment, and makes timely decisions.
