MaxLinear is seeking a <b>Technical Director </b>in <b>Analog, Mixed-Signal, and RF IC Design</b> to join our team. In this role, you will focus on the following:</p><ul><li>
Provide <b>hands-on technical leadership</b>, driving key strategic decisions, <b>roadmaps</b>, and architectural developments for mixed-signal designs across global teams</li><li>
Collaborate with IC designers and system engineers to <b>develop high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits</b> for next-generation products</li><li><b>
Recruit, mentor, and develop top engineering talent</b>, fostering a high-performance culture</li><li>
Drive collaboration with support teams (CAD, technology, and digital) to <b>enhance productivity </b>across the organization</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Extensive technical expertise in data converters, with hands-on IC <b>tape-out and productization experience</b></li><li>
Strong ability to <b>translate high-level specifications into block-level design requirements</b></li><li>
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Proven experience providing <b>customer-facing support</b> throughout product development and release-to-production phases</li><li>
BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 13 years of experience, or MS + 11 years of experience, or Ph.D. + 8 years of experience</li></ul>
Compensation and Benefits:

MaxLinear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.</div><div></div><div><br>
MaxLinear expects to offer a starting base salary within the range for Southern California of: $143,600 to $222,985 Annually</div><div>
MaxLinear expects to offer a starting base salary within the range for San Francisco Bay Area of: $159,200 to $247,135 Annually</div><div></div><div><br>
