<div><b>What You'll Do:</b></div>

<div>The <b>Surgical Dental Assistant</b> will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our Oral Surgeons throughout various surgical procedures.

<div></div><div>The successful candidate will be able to:</div>
<div></div>
<div><b>Preparing the Treatment Room:</b></div>
<ul><li>Ensure the treatment room is clean, organized, and equipped with the necessary instruments and supplies</li></ul>
<ul><li>Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments according to infection control guidelines</li></ul>
<ul><li>Set up equipment such as suction devices, dental chairs, X-ray machines, and surgical lights</li></ul>

<div><b>Assisting with Oral Surgery Procedures:</b></div>
<ul><li>Prepare patients for Oral Surgery, explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns they may have</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist Oral Surgeons during surgical procedures, anticipating their needs and providing the necessary
</li></ul><div>instruments and materials</div>
<ul><li>Maintain a sterile environment during surgery, following strict infection control protocols</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort level during surgery, ensuring their well-being at all times</li></ul>
<ul><li>Handle and dispose of surgical waste and hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations</li></ul>

<div><b>Patient Support and Education:</b></div>
<ul><li>Provide post-operative care instructions to patients, including oral hygiene practices, medication
</li></ul><div>administration, and dietary restrictions</div>
<ul><li>Answer patients&rsquo; questions and concerns, offering reassurance and empathy throughout their treatment
</li></ul><div>process</div>
<ul><li>Educate patients about oral health, prevention methods, and the importance of regular dental visits</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatment plans, procedures, and progress</li></ul>

<div><b>Administrative Duties:</b></div>
<ul><li>Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with other dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manage patient records, update medical histories, and handle billing and insurance documentation</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist with inventory management, ordering dental supplies, and maintaining equipment</li></ul>
<ul><li>Perform any and all other duties as assigned</li></ul>

<div><b>What You&rsquo;ll Bring:</b></div>

<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li></ul>
<ul><li>Valid X-ray license is required</li></ul>
<ul><li>Previous experience as a dental assistant, particularly in Oral Surgery, is highly desirable</li></ul>
<ul><li>Discharge experience is highly preferred</li></ul>
<ul><li>Knowledge of oral surgery procedures, instruments, and materials</li></ul>
<ul><li>Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety measures</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficiency in dental software and computer literacy</li></ul>
