Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide individual and group counseling to patients dealing with acute or chronic medical conditions, trauma, terminal illness, or post-operative recovery.</li><li>Support patients and their families in adjusting to diagnoses, treatment plans, and hospitalization.</li><li>Conduct psychosocial assessments, develop intervention plans, and maintain progress notes in accordance with hospital policy.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, etc.) to integrate mental health support into patient care.</li><li>Offer crisis intervention and support during medical emergencies or high-stress situations (e.g., ICU, emergency, palliative care units).</li><li>Educate patients and families on coping strategies, stress management, and community resources.</li><li>Refer patients to specialized mental health services when necessary (e.g., psychiatrists, addiction counselors).</li><li>Provide support to hospital staff during high-stress periods or after traumatic patient care events.</li><li>Participate in staff training, wellness initiatives, and patient care planning sessions.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education:</li></ul>Master&rsquo;s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field from a recognized institution.<ul><li>Licensure/Certification:</li></ul>Licensed or registered counselor/therapist as per local regulations (e.g., RCI registration in India, LPC/LMHC in the US, etc.)<ul><li>Experience:</li><li>Minimum 2&ndash;5 years of counseling experience in a hospital or clinical healthcare setting.</li><li>Experience in working with patients facing chronic illness, trauma, grief, or psychiatric comorbidities is highly preferred.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Empathy and active listening</li><li>Crisis management and conflict resolution</li><li>Ability to work in high-pressure environments</li><li>Documentation and clinical reporting</li><li>Team collaboration</li></ul>Interested Candidates Share Your CV 9133377935Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
