The right person will thrive with deadline driven work and enjoy collaborating with others. They will have an eye for detail and always willing to learn new things. This position will be part of our asset recovery department and will be handling our service of process matters.This position is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a change in their career or interested in learning more about HOA law. We will provide a lot of training and support.Job Requirements:<ul><li>Experience working in a law firm environment and/or professional office setting.</li><li>Must be good at basic math and comfortable working with numbers all day.</li><li>Solid skills in written and verbal communications.</li><li>Strong customer service skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and the ability to complete job tasks with a high degree of quality.</li><li>Aptitude to manage multiple priorities and tasks to achieve sensitive deadlines.</li><li>Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills including the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in difficult situations.</li><li>Work in a highly collaborative team environment.</li><li>Competent with technology and comfortable with changing systems.</li></ul>What You Will DoIn this role, you will be responsible for handling multiple tasks with specific deadlines regarding HOA legal matters. You will work directly with attorneys and other team members. Organizational skills are critical to be successful in this role.Legal Assistant Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Process high volume service of process related tasks.</li><li>Learn to draft, review and revise correspondence, documents, and pleadings.</li><li>Comfortable with performing research or taking a deeper dive on issues that are not easily resolved.</li><li>Act as back-up for team members when they are out of the office.</li><li>Responsible for managing daily task lists and other work duties assigned.</li></ul>Perks and BenefitsWe understand the need for flexibility in this day and age.
