Personal Injury law firm seeks full time paralegal/Pre-lit Case Manager to oversee personal injury cases in pre-litigation/litigation . Duties to include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Propounding and responding to discovery</li><li>Client Communications/Meetings</li><li>Handling File Review and relevant casework on PI cases</li><li>Requesting and Summarizing Medical Records w/Affidavits</li><li>Meet all relevant court appointed deadlines</li><li>Responsible for scheduling and preparing mediations and depositions</li><li>Responsible for setting up trial notebooks. utilizing Firm's resources for document preparation and e-filing</li><li>Tracking and documenting any subrogation liens.</li><li>Calendaring, updating client case management file [Neos], Conduct Witness interviews and case investigation through telephone, written, and in-person communication.</li><li>Conduct factual and Legal Research using LEXIS, Westlaw and/or other on-line facilities</li><li>Working with attorneys and other staff in the firm on assigned duties.</li><li>Ability to maintain an average caseload of 60 - 85 litigation cases in various stages of the PI process</li><li>Three (3) to Five (5) consecutive years of Plaintiffs personal injury paralegal and Case management work experience preferred</li><li>Must be able to work high caseload and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service skills</li><li>Excellent organization and time management skills required</li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a high-volume environment</li><li>Familiar with Needles Case Management Software</li><li>- Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment required</li><li>- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.</li><li>- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards</li></ul>Please note that any offers of employment made will be subject to the candidate undergoing a criminal background check.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
