Job Description 
We are looking for a DC Transportation Dispatch to join our Mayer team in Norcross, GA!
Summary: 
The Distribution Center Transportation Dispatch is responsible for routing deliveries and drivers in the most efficient way possible while maintaining delivery metrics. Will also be responsible for vehicle maintenance, setting schedules, managing expedited orders, and acting as the main point of contact between internal customers and the delivery drivers. 
 
What You'll Do:<ul><li>
Coordinate daily route planning, staffing, and load balancing activities</li><li>
Ensure all vehicles, drivers, and processes meet both Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements</li><li>
Responsible for the complete and accurate loading process of material going out for delivery</li><li>
Ensure manifest integrity for all loads</li><li>
Schedule deliveries and dispatches drivers based on requirements of the customer as communicated through various media channels</li><li>
Keep accurate record of deliveries and ensures manifests are properly closed</li><li>
Coordinate and communicates daily on-demand services as needed</li><li>
Ensure all assets are maintained consistent with company expectations</li><li>
Responsible for building and vehicle maintenance, safety, and security</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul>

Qualifications 
What You'll Need<ul><li>
1+ years of experience in a similar role and/or experience working in a Distribution Center or Warehouse preferred</li><li>
High School or GED - Required</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities<ul><li>
Knowledge of Distribution Center/Warehouse principles, practices, and procedures</li><li>
Knowledge of Transportation Systems and industry a plus</li><li>
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required</li><li>
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities</li><li>
Organization and time management skills, detail oriented, able to prioritize in a multi-tasking environment and ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines</li><li>

Job Description 
We are looking for a Truck Driver to join our Mayer team in Huntsville, AL!
Summary: 
Employee&rsquo;s level and pay will be dependent on their level of experience, knowledge, and capabilities. The Truck Driver is responsible for delivering products to/from customers, company branch/warehouse locations, and company suppliers in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required). Responsible for ensuring that deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner and materials are correct and free of damage. 
 
What You'll Do:<ul><li>
Inspect company vehicle for visual and operating defects; responsible for completing a daily inspection report</li><li>
Keep company vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; alert supervisor of repair and/or service needed</li><li>
Must follow Department of Transportation (DOT), local and state driving laws and regulations</li><li>
Load or unload vehicle and ensure all material for each order is correct (quantity and type of material) and that material is free of damage before departure</li><li>
May assist in preparing orders for delivery</li><li>
Ensure all appropriate documentation is thoroughly completed at the time of delivery, including delivery receipt is signed by the customer, packing list and branch/warehouse manifest</li><li>
Pick up material returns from customers; responsible for inspecting the condition of the material and verifies quantities and catalog numbers</li><li>
Pick up material from company suppliers</li><li>
Senior Truck Driver will participate in the training of entry level Truck Drivers; and provides mentorship and coaching</li><li>
May be required to support other Warehouse duties such as preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>
