Position Summary</b></h3><p>
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive <b>Warehouse Assistant</b> to support our daily operations. In addition to standard receiving and inventory tasks, this role serves as our primary point of contact for <b>Tool and Fleet Asset Management</b>. You will ensure our field technicians are fully equipped with the &quot;latest and greatest&quot; tools and PPE, actively participate in tool procurement, physically perform and track safety inspections, and rigorously follow established SOPs to minimize equipment loss. Managing an early shift, you are a critical link in ensuring our field teams hit the job site safely, on time, and fully prepared.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Core Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li><b>
Tool &amp; Asset Management:</b> Actively procure tools and PPE, track allocations using <b>BuildOps</b>, and ensure field technicians have high-quality, operational equipment.</li><li><b>
Compliance, Safety &amp; Inspection:</b> Physically perform basic safety testing, tagging, and tracking for field assets (e.g., ladders, harnesses, fire extinguishers, and power tools) to ensure compliance with annual inspection standards.</li><li><b>
Deliveries &amp; Fleet Operations:</b> Safely operate company vehicles to make material or tool deliveries and pickups at job sites within a 100-mile radius of the shop.</li><li><b>
Inventory Control &amp; SOPs:</b> Enforce warehouse SOPs to minimize asset loss, organize storage, audit stock levels, and process incoming freight/shipments accurately.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li><b>
Certifications:</b> Must possess a <b>Clean &amp; Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</b> (for regional deliveries) and an <b>OSHA 10-Hour Certification</b>.</li><li><b>
Equipment Operation:</b> Experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts) is required.</li><li><b>
Technical Aptitude:</b> Proficiency with or a strong ability to learn <b>BuildOps</b> platform for tracking tool inventory and asset allocation.</li><li><b>
Experience:</b> Prior experience in a mechanical contracting, construction, or trade-adjacent warehouse environment is highly preferred.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Physical Requirements &amp; Environmental Working Conditions</b></h3><p>

Lifting:</b> Must be able to frequently lift and carry <b>25 lbs to 50 lbs</b>, and occasionally lift up to <b>100 lbs</b> with or without assistance.</li><li><b>
Mobility:</b> Regular standing, walking, sitting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.</li><li><b>
Environment:</b> Ability to work comfortably in both indoor warehouse settings and outdoor job site conditions across varying weather elements.</li></ul></div><p></p>
