Position Summary:
The IT Support Assistant will provide technical support to users by researching and answering questions; troubleshooting problems; maintaining workstation and LAN performance.
<ul><li>Provide answers to users by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding users through corrective steps.
</li><li>Configure/install computer hardware for all MBH users.
</li><li>Writing and maintaining user documentation.
</li><li>Help with ongoing IT process by developing/maintaining user training.
</li><li>Monitors compliance and service agreements.
</li><li>Improves system performance by identifying problems; recommending changes.
</li><li>Keep detailed records of computer/equipment inventory, user information in a secure environment.
</li><li>Support the roll out of new applications/processes.
</li><li>Manage cell phones (activation; billing reporting).
</li></ul>Requirements:
<ul><li>LAN knowledge preferred</li>
<li>Help desk experience preferred</li>
<li>Operating systems experience preferred</li>
<li>Systems administration experience preferred</li>
<li>Phone skills</li>
<li>Customer service</li>
<li>Ability to problem solve</li>
<li>PC Proficiency</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks at one time.</li>
