The Junior Designer will work closely with our senior design staff and project teams to support the full lifecycle of custom residential design &mdash; from initial client consultation through construction documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about residential architecture and design and eager to grow their career within a collaborative, hands-on environment.Key ResponsibilitesThe Junior Designer will be expected to perform a broad range of design and documentation tasks, including but not limited to the following:Assist in the development of custom home design concepts, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Chief Architect, SketchUp, or similar).Prepare and revise sales plans, building footprints, strip plans, and area plans in support of client presentations and permitting processes.Produce 3D renderings and visualizations to help clients understand and approve design concepts.Assist with material and finish selections, coordinating with suppliers and vendors to source appropriate products within client budgets.Collaborate with senior designers, project managers, site superintendents, civil engineers, and subcontractors to ensure design intent is carried through to construction.Participate in client meetings and consultations, taking notes and translating feedback into actionable design revisions.Maintain organized project files, design records, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Stay current with residential design trends, building products, and sustainable construction practices.Support field visits as needed to monitor construction progress and resolve design-related issues.Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Profit sharing</li></ul>Work Location: In person
