Job Summary:Geetanjali Salon is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Accounting Executive to manage purchase-related accounting activities, vendor coordination, and inventory purchase records. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of purchase accounting, GST compliance, vendor reconciliation, and hands-on experience with accounting software.Key Responsibilities:1. Purchase Accounting &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Record all purchase bills, GRNs, and vendor invoices accurately in the accounting system.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and verification of purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.</li><li>Maintain updated purchase ledgers and ensure timely posting of purchase entries.</li></ul>2. Vendor Management &amp; Reconciliation<ul><li>Coordinate with vendors regarding purchase bills, payment status, and outstanding statements.</li><li>Perform monthly vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Ensure timely processing of payments after internal approvals.</li></ul>3. Inventory &amp; Stock Coordination<ul><li>Work closely with store/warehouse teams to match purchase invoices with stock inward reports.</li><li>Verify product rates, quantities, and tax applicability on invoices.</li><li>Assist in monthly stock audits and maintain accurate purchase-related stock records.</li></ul>4. Tax Compliance &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Ensure GST compliance on all purchases including proper classification of input tax credits.</li><li>Support the accounts team in preparing GST reports and reconciliations.</li><li>Assist in audits by providing required purchase documentation and reports.</li></ul>5. System &amp; Process Management<ul><li>Work on accounting software (Tally/ERP) for daily purchase posting.</li><li>Maintain internal purchase trackers and MIS reports.</li><li>Support the finance team with any ad-hoc accounting tasks related to purchases.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.</li><li>3&ndash;4 years of experience in purchase accounting or vendor accounts.</li><li>Proficiency in Tally or other ERP accounting software.</li><li>Strong understanding of GST, input tax credit, and purchase documentation.</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table preferred).</li><li>Excellent communication and coordination skills.</li><li>Ability to work with accuracy, timelines, and attention to detail.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;35,000.00 - &#8377;50,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
