As we embark on a strategic continuous improvement journey, the role of Projects and Continuous Improvement Global will be pivotal in leading strategic projects and driving improvement to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at McCain Foods.
Reporting to the Food Safety and Quality Director of Systems and Compliance, the successful candidate ensures strategic projects are identified, managed, and executed to drive superior performance and value creation across the food safety and quality organization. The role serves as the functional project lead for strategic business projects such as network moves or new builds. The role works in close partnership with operations and cross-functional partners to ensure effective deployment and ongoing compliance to McCain Driving Impact (MDI) programs. This position also leads the Global FSQ team&rsquo;s Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring initiatives and helps in drive improvement through Advance Problem Solving processes.
This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on work and requires the ability to manage complex global projects with cross-departmental and functional teams. What you&rsquo;ll be doing.
<ul><li>Regional MDI Owner for FSQ Function: Deploying and verifying FSQ expectations at each phase (Foundations, Stabilization, Acceleration &amp; Sustainability).</li><li>
Cross functional/departmental MDI playbook development leadership.</li><li>
Leads the ongoing Global FSQ KPI review calls. Ensures trends are investigated, root cause analysis is completed, and projects are in place to improve performance.
</li><li>Manages the portfolio of continuous improvement projects for the Global FSQ function (KPI improvement projects, complaint reduction workstreams/projects, value savings)</li><li>
Manages governance processes of key programs and systems to ensure alignment and compliance globally.</li><li>
Root cause analysis / advanced problem-solving facilitator.</li><li>
Continuous Improvement / KPI Improvement project leader (complaint reduction, quality/food safety incident improvements, non-conforming product reduction).</li><li>
Develop the Cost of Non-Conformance Program: Create program and tracking; identify value savings projects (hold reductions, first time quality).</li><li>
FSQ Leader for strategic global business projects: new builds, technology deployments</li><li>
Liaise with cross-departmental FSQ personnel and assist where applicable in the setting of key performance indicator targets and objectives that compliment company policies and goals.</li><li>
Effective presentation and communication skills to distill information to broad audience and senior leaders.</li><li>

Qualifications:<ul><li>
Minimally holder of a bachelor&rsquo;s degree with 5 years of experience in a similar role.</li><li>
Demonstrated expertise in project management and continuous improvement initiatives that span multiple sites or a region. Proficient use of statistical methods.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of root cause analysis tools to be used on mechanical, processing, quality and food safety issues. Ability to identify gaps and propose solutions.</li><li>
Must have working knowledge of food safety principles and practices, computer systems, and production processes in the food industry. Prior experience in capital projects is an asset</li><li>
Willing to travel up to 40% internationally</li></ul>

Compensation Package: $97,500.00 - $130,000.00 . USD annually + Bonus eligibility 
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.

As part of this transformation, we are making significant investments into our data platforms, common data models. data structures and data policies to increase the quality of our data, the confidence of our business teams to use this data to make better decisions and drive value through the use of data.
 
 
 We have a new and ambitious global Digital &amp; Data group, which serves as a resource to the business teams in our regions and global functions. We are currently recruiting an experienced Data Architect to build enterprise data model McCain.
 
 
 
 Job Purpose
 
 
 
 Reporting to the Principal Data Architect, Data Architect will take a lead role in creating the enterprise data model for McCain Foods, bringing together data assets across agriculture, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial. This data model will be the foundation for our analytics program that seeks to bring together McCain&rsquo;s industry-leading operational data sets, with 3rd party data sets, to drive world-class analytics. Working with a diverse team of data governance experts, data integration architects, data engineers and our analytics team including data scientist, you will play a key role in creating a conceptual, logical and physical data model that underpins the Global Digital &amp; Data team&rsquo;s activities. .
 
 
 
 Job Responsibilities

 Develop an understanding of McCain&rsquo;s key data assets and work with data governance team to document key data sets in our enterprise data catalog
 </li>

 Work with business stakeholders to build a conceptual business model by understanding the business end to end process, challenges, and future business plans.

 Collaborate with application architects to bring in the analytics point of view when designing end user applications.
 </li>

 Develop Logical data model based on business model and align with business teams
 </li>

 Work with technical teams to build physical data model, data lineage and keep all relevant documentations

 Develop a process to manage to all models and appropriate controls
 </li>

 With a use-case driven approach, enhance and expand enterprise data model based on legacy on-premises analytics products, and new cloud data products including advanced analytics models
 </li>

 Design key enterprise conformed dimensions and ensure understanding across data engineering teams (including third parties); keep data catalog and wiki tools current
 </li>
 <li>
 Primary point of contact for new Digital and IT programs, to ensure alignment to enterprise data model
 </li>

 Be a clear player in shaping McCain&rsquo;s cloud migration strategy, enabling advanced analytics and world-leading Business Intelligence analytics
