 About The Role
 
 
 
 To supervise and co-ordinate the processing and packing operation of production line, ensuring the product is packed within the product specifications. To manage production costs by optimizing productivity / yield, while utilizing the staff / equipment in a safe, effective and hygienic manner.
 
 
 
 Manager The Team
 
 
 
 
 Roles and Responsibilities &amp; Key Deliverables:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Make sure performance of subordinates is achieved against their agreed KPI&rsquo;s.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performance appraisals are carried out every three months and once per year.
 </li>
 <li>
 Full implementation of training / development plan for all subordinates. Ensure it meets within training budget and work skills plan.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reduce Staff turnover
 </li>
 <li>
 Always communicate with shop floor staff reference performance output, recognizing staffs&rsquo; achievements on monthly basis. Keeps staff up to date with any changes to company procedures or policy.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 People Management
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Identify goals and individual KPI&rsquo;s and develop team and their individual capability. Measure performance using organizational tools (PEP).
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrate open, positive and constructive communication and enact McCain Foods Code of Conduct behaviors by providing support to all production department personnel in activities. This is to improve teamwork, motivation, leadership, and job specific knowledge on a routine basis as well as monthly and annual review. Measured through quick response and implementation of corrective actions and line team reaching required agreed targets.

 Do monthly recognition program in monthly review meetings to batter engagement and motivation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Improve our voice survey results score year on year and prepare plan for improvement based on gap analysis
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Ensure Execution Of The Packing Plan
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Drive Safety Culture down the line and achieve ZERO TRIR through Functional Objectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Give indent of all raw materials and packing materials to concern department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow RTP plan as per Monthly Plan shared by Planner and ensure 100% schedule Adherence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Meeting daily plan, maximum 5 percent deviation is allowed of specified output and excluding raw material issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all areas are properly manned to meet operational requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 All equipment is in good running order and set up to comply with the final product specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure timely CIP as per validation study and work on optimization of CIP time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive MDI program across line and achieve OEE to meet annual Production target.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee that efficiency standards are maintained and subsequent planned production volumes are packed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Discuss major casual labor issues to HR on daily basis and maintain the effectiveness of personal in order to achieve the optimum labor utilization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate packing out-put, downtime or quality issues on daily basis to concern person.
 </li>
 <li>
 Achieve all BOP&rsquo;s related process and packing. Ensure Annual BOP training to team members.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Maintenance Duties
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Check production consumables stock and make sure inventory level with limit.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists with engineers during breakdowns.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure daily checks to be filled by subordinates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report any defects in equipment performance to the Engineering Executives, control room operator and engineers.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Manage Product Cost

 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage production reports on a daily basis-ensuring yield, labor and burdens are within budget and match the cost sheet.
 </li>
 <li>
 Inform any deviation to manager on daily basis regarding cost.
 </li>
 <li>
 Check records of all waste generated within the process / packing area and investigate whenever excessive waste is found.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all operation work procedures adhered to for optimal packing efficiencies / yield.
 </li>
 <li>
 Educate and train employees to ensure they are fully aware of all standards required within the process / packing area.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain DDS meetings and do daily Gemba Walks.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 </ul>
 
 Financial Management Of Department
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and apply strong financial management approach to annual production department budget ensuring compliance with all financial management policies, audit requirements and reporting
 </li>
 <li>
 Set with Production Manager, and meet, all production department SCA&rsquo;s. (Cost Saving Projects) . Provide written explanations as required, at month end and at the end of the financial year including any deviation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Initiate and recommend projects for capital consideration. Provide support for projects in the form of savings/benefits and improvements to safety and plant performance.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 </ul>
 
 Product Quality NPD &amp; Hygiene
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Communicate with the QC concerning corrective action reports related to quality problems that occur within the packing area.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure operations are maintaining all quality checks within specified parameters, ensuring traceability.
 </li>
 <li>
 All non-conformance products are identified / recorded and reason for non-conformance been recorded.
 </li>
 <li>
 Customer complaints and restricted products are within the specified targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure proper execution of NPD (New Product Development), launched and all process conditions are noted and recorded.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain GMP in plant.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 </ul>
 
 Ensure Compliance With All Statutory Requirements &amp; McCain Policies
 
 
 
 <ul>

 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Fulfill legal compliance with all relevant legislation
 </li>
 <li>
 Fulfil compliance with McCain policies and systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Full compliance with food safety standards.
 </li>

 Carries out monthly safety inspection of the production area
 </li>

 No loose wires or electrical panels are open to the environment (Only engineers have access to electrical panels).

 All floors are kept dry to minimize slips.

 All staff in the packing area wear Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE).
 </li>
 <li>
 Train an update all staff in relation to all safety issues within the production area.
 </li>
 <li>
 Anticipates and identifies safety related problems, takes corrective action to resolve the safety issue.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain BOS system
 </li>
 <li>
 Make sure operators and shift executives are filled near misses and first add.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 </ul>
 
 Control Department Overhead Expenses

 About You
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 BE/B-tech in Electrical /Mechanical Engineer/Food Technology.
 </li>
 <li>
 Should have min. 8 years&rsquo; experience in the Food Industry
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be People Manager with at least 3 years experience.
