McCall Thomas Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time 1099 (Contract) Inspector. This position may have the opportunity to convert to a regular full-time employee with benefits after the 6-month contract period. 
As a McCall-Thomas Inspector, you will be joining a team of dedicated individuals committed to our mission of providing quality solutions and services to each of our clients. The responsibilities for this role include:
<ul><li>Patrolling and Inspection of overhead and underground fiber installations.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Inspecting and ensuring OH and UG fiber is installed according to drawings and specifications.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensuring all hardware is installed correctly and according to specifications.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Documenting issues and ensuring required corrections are made construction crews.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Generating red lines of changes to construction drawings.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensuring that all fiber cable and fiber drop footages are correct</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensuring that the fiber is placed in the entire circuit and that each RTD is placed at the correct location</li></ul><ul><li> 
Completing and submitting QC spreadsheet and paperwork</li></ul>
<ul><li>Checking on construction crews to ensure they are at the correct locations</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintaining a professional working attitude with co-workers and customers at all times and adhering to safety practices and procedures.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Additional responsibilities as directed by the Foreman/Construction Manager.</li></ul> 
What Will You Need:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

High school diploma

Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship

Prior fiber construction or utility electrical inspection experience preferred
