<div>McCoy Federal Credit Union is searching for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. This role is vital to our daily operations, supporting accurate financial reporting and transaction processing to ensure our team members can effectively serve our members while upholding our Mission, Vision, and Values.

The Accounting team is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting daily accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The team works collaboratively with branches and departments across Orlando and surrounding areas.

This is an in-person position.

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform daily balancing of Federal Reserve and Corporate accounts</li>
<li>Process accounts payable and receivable, including check preparation and distribution</li>
<li>Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements in a timely and accurate manner</li>
<li>Prepare and process wire transfers in accordance with established procedures</li>
<li>Assist with month-end closing and annual audit</li>
<li>Research, track, and resolve discrepancies or inquiries from branches, members, and internal departments</li>
<li>Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready accounting records and documentation</li>
<li>Provide clerical and administrative support to the Accounting Department, including filing, scanning, and data entry
</li><li>Assist with departmental tasks such as ATM deposit balancing and other operational support as needed</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>
<li>Experience: 2 to 3 years of accounting experience; credit union or banking experience preferred</li>
<li>Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel</li>
<li>Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks</li>
<li>Communication: Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across departments</li>
