Job Summary
The Construction Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring construction activities meet established quality standards, contract requirements, and project specifications. This role works closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to implement quality management processes, identify and resolve quality issues, and support continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. Quality Engineer plays a key role in protecting project integrity, minimizing rework, and supporting successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities include:
<ul><li>Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific Quality Management Plans.</li>
<li>Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards.</li>
<li>Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to identify, address, and resolve quality issues in the field.</li>
<li>Review material submittals, test reports, inspection records, and quality documentation for accuracy and completeness.</li>
<li>Track, document, and report nonconformances, including corrective and preventive actions.</li>
<li>Support preconstruction activities by reviewing design documents for constructability concerns and potential quality risks.</li>
<li>Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and use of testing equipment and inspection tools.</li>
<li>Provide training, guidance, and support to project personnel on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.</li>
<li>Maintain organized and accurate quality records to support project closeout and client handover.</li>
<li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction quality processes, performance, and outcomes.</li>
<li>Attends and collaborate in all pre-planning, pre-installation and progress meetings</li>
<li>Establish testing procedures in accordance with contract specifications
</li><li>Manage inspections process.</li>
<li>Coordinate third party testing agents and interface with the Owner's representatives as required.</li>
<li>Closely track and maintain a project deficiency log.</li>
<li>Manage the punch list process.</li>
<li>Oversee project closeout deliverable process-training, O&amp;Ms.</li>
</ul>
Education &amp; Additional Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field required.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in construction quality, quality assurance, or quality control, inspections, preferably in a field-based role.</li>
<li>Knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and industry standards.</li>
<li>Experience with Quality Management Systems and inspection and testing processes.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.</li></ul></div>

Job Summary 
We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Coordinator to oversee the coordination, 
installation, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on construction 
projects. The MEP Superintendent will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and 
field personnel to ensure MEP components are delivered on time, within budget, and in 
compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
<ul><li>Responsible for estimating support, subcontractor bid reviews, scheduling, project logistics, and constructability reviews as it relates to MEP systems.</li>
<li>Support both pre-construction and the project team in reviewing trade partners estimates and costs as it relates to design changes</li>
<li>Manage the owner-architect interface in the planning and installation of the following systems: electrical, HVAC, automation, plumbing, process piping, low voltage systems, fire/life safety, and fire protection design/construction coordination (validated and non-validated systems).</li>
<li>Participate in review of all MEP related shop drawings and submittals</li>
<li>Assist in the development of full commissioning plans for all MEP systems that identify and define the following: all test requirements, required inspections, factory start-up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, project and vendor documentation requirements, and integrated test plans demonstrating full system operations.</li>
<li>Oversee coordination of MEP systems through the project virtual design and construction process.</li>
<li>Responsible for onsite construction support for MEP systems and will oversee the start-up, balancing, commissioning and validation certification of these systems, including owner training and project closeout.</li>
<li>Work with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve design conflicts and maintain efficient workflows.</li>
<li>Developing and implementing overall project work schedules identifying the critical path including the expediting of scheduled critical materials and equipment for their timely delivery to site.</li>
<li>Developing and managing the overall site safety program as required and ensuring subcontractor compliance with standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.</li>
<li>Overseeing work among all trades to promote a coordinated project operation</li>
<li>Acting as liaison to inspection agencies.</li>
<li>Managing the work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the approved contract documents.</li>
<li>A working knowledge of Construction methods, safety, scheduling, quality assurance, plans and specifications, estimating, bidding and project documents are desired.</li>
</ul>
Education &amp; Additional Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical/electrical engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted).</li>
<li>Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP construction, preferably in a superintendent or similar leadership role.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of MEP systems, blueprints, specifications, and construction methodologies.</li>
<li>Extensive experience with commercial upfit / interior renovations and MEP system installation is preferred.
</li><li>OSHA 30, PMP, or other relevant construction certifications are a plus.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Able to work with multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve complex issues as it relates to MEP design and construction</li>
<li>Ability to run complex meetings with multiple attendees, issue minutes promptly and follow up with participants for deliverables.</li>
<li>Good understanding of fire/life safety and fire sprinkler systems and the integration of same with mechanical, electrical, building systems</li>
<li>Good understanding of the test and balance process and requirements</li>
<li>Good understanding of building automation systems and sequences as it relates to MEP</li></ul></div>
