 As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic the employee performs a full range of maintenance, repair and service activities on heavy equipment. Troubleshoots malfunctions in the equipment and repair.  Basic Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 
 Must have a minimum of five years heavy equipment mechanic experience.
 
 </li>
 
 <li>
 
 Must have hand tools.
 
 </li>
 
 <li>
 
 Must be able to pass a DOT Physical.
 
 </li>
 
 <li>
 
 Must be willing and able to work 50 hours per week minimum.
 
 </li>
 
 <li>
 
 Must be able and willing to walk, stand for long periods of time.
 
 </li>
 
 <li>
 
 Perform strenuous physical labor including lifting items as heavy as 50 pounds.
 
 </li>
 
 <li>
 
 Must have the ability and be willing to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
 
 </li>
 
 <li>
 
 Must have a valid driver's license.
 
 </li>
