Occupational Health Specialist - Onsite Health Services

<div>Responsibilities:<ul><li>
The TeleHealth Analyst will be responsible for implementing telehealth/telemedicine technologies across the McLeod Health organization.</li><li>
Required to coordinate and facilitate telehealth and conferencing sessions.</li><li>
Serves as a coordinator between clients and IT personnel for use of equipment, problem resolution and project evaluation.</li><li>
Participates in on-call rotation schedule, to include daily, after hours and weekends, to provide round the clock client support.</li><li>

Qualifications:<ul><li>
Five years of related work experience in information systems support.</li><li>
Experience in client server-based technologies and personal computer technologies</li><li>
Must be a team player with initiative, organizational skills and analytical abilities.
</li><li>A minimum of five years of supporting information systems.</li><li>
Minimum of three years PC-oriented experience including hardware and basic networking.</li><li>
Job requires the ability to design, support, and monitor telehealth hardware and software systems.</li></ul>

Job Summary<ul><li>

Provides therapy for a wide variety of physical and/or functional limitations related to, but not limited to: musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and developmental impairments, documenting progress with measurable and functional goals.</li><li>
 Independently maintains patient records according to hospital policy, completing daily record keeping, charges, and contributing to status updates and discharge summaries within hospital timelines</li><li>

Physical Therapy Assistant - Home Health (Florence County)

<div>Physical Therapist - PRN (As Needed) - Home Health - Clarendon

Responsibilities:
<div>
<ul><li>Responsible for providing physical therapy services in accordance with the physician&rsquo;s written orders. Interacts daily with patients, family members and agency personnel and on a regular basis with physicians.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Directly accountable to the McLeod Home Health Administrator. Functions within agency and unit policies and procedures. Manages own time productively and independently and complies with attendance and reporting requirements. Works closely with other staff, students, and other external agencies and groups. Contributes to the overall performance of the department through professional development strategies, including, but not limited to: competency training, clinical preceptor, in service coordination, serving as a mentor in area of clinical expertise. For therapy services will function as clinical education coordinator for education of students and volunteers and assist with performance improvement.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Demonstrates knowledge of state therapy laws, the Conditions of Participation of the Federal Health Insurance Program for the Aged and Disable (Title XVIII, Social Security Act, Section 1861), and the regulations relating to Conditions of Participation for Home Health Agencies (Part 405, Section 1201-1243), ACHC, JCAHO and all other pertinent regulatory issues, must be knowledgeable about conflict resolution techniques and customer relations. Must have understanding of all agency services and referral systems. Must possess knowledge of community resources available to client base.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Demonstrates expertise in communication and interpersonal relationships. Must possess excellent writing skills. Must be able to use computer. Must have excellent organizational skills. highly adaptable and have the ability to exercise high degree of initiative and judgment in carrying out work assignments. Must have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to function in an office setting which includes standing, walking, sitting, etc. must be able to use office equipment such as copier, calculators, etc. must have a very good manual dexterity in carrying out technical and physical aspects of clinical care and operating clinical equipment. Must have good hearing and eyesight. Moderate physical activity involved, with daily and frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to fifty pounds, sitting and driving. Full range of motion and strenuous movements necessary when performing patient care.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Responsible for handling potential problems related to safety issues for staff and patients in all settings. High degree of maturity, self-motivation, creativity, initiative, and independent judgment required. Must have responsible, ethical, self-initiating professional behavior. Effective interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to listen and plan with staff, patients/customer/physicians are essential characteristics. Must be able to efficiently communicate with a diverse population. Self-awareness and self-evaluation are important characteristics as are accuracy in collecting data, completion of records and follow-up.</li></ul>

Required Education/Experience

Help promote safe and effective use of all automated medication dispensing and packaging systems, any applicable infusion pump technologies, remote temperature monitoring systems, eMAR and all other hospital pharmacy technology.</li><li>
Knows and follows both hospital and pharmacy policies and procedures, medication related policies and procedures located online in the patient care manual.</li><li>
Contacts the provider in a timely manner when there is a concern about a medication order related to a drug interaction, allergy, drug disease state interaction, issue with med reconciliation or other CPOE orders, and other circumstances as indicated.</li><li>
Ensures proper charging and crediting of medications.</li><li>
Knows and follows state and federal laws regarding dispensing of medications.</li><li>
Knows and follows regulatory standards and policies related to all governing bodies.</li><li>
