Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Essential Duties:<ul><li>
Provide chair-side and clinical support during exams and procedures</li><li>
Take impressions for models and denture appliances</li><li>
Place and remove rubber dams or other isolation devices</li><li>
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care</li><li>
Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms in compliance with infection control standards</li><li>
Temporarily cement and remove provisional crowns</li><li>
Place sealants and perform coronal polishing (with certification)</li></ul>
Extended Functions:<ul><li>
Place, contour, and finish restorative materials after dentist preparation</li><li>
Adjust occlusion on restorations</li><li>
Take final impressions and bite registrations for crowns</li><li>
Perform oral health assessments in school-based, community health project settings under the direction of a dentist or registered dental hygienist (with certification)</li></ul>

Requirements:
<ul><li>California Registered Dental Assistant Extended Functions (RDAEF) License</li><li>
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification</li><li>
Willing and able to travel to other MCHC sites for trainings, meetings, and/or to cover shifts as needed.</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
At least one year of experience working in a dental office with Electronic Health Records (EHR)</li><li>
Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent)</li></ul></div>
