MDX Global and its sister company are seeking an on-site Human Resources Manager who will oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and professional development. This role requires a hands-on, proactive leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day HR operations, addressing employee needs while also educating and empowering staff on topics such as benefits and workplace expectations.
The HR Manager will also play a critical role in training and coaching both organizational leaders and staff, ensuring alignment with company values, compliance standards, and performance goals.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Recruitment &amp; Staffing: Manage the hiring process, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and onboarding. May also be responsible for completing payroll for staff.</li><li>
Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between staff and administration, addressing workplace concerns and fostering a positive, inclusive, and communicative environment.</li><li>
Proactive Employee Education: Take initiative to educate employees on HR topics such as benefits, performance evaluations, leave policies, and career development to promote understanding and engagement.</li><li>
Training &amp; Leadership Coaching: Provide ongoing training, guidance, and mentorship to the HR team and department leaders to strengthen their people management skills, communication, and accountability.</li><li>
HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, policies, and industry best practices.</li><li>
Payroll &amp; Benefits: Oversee payroll processing and administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.</li><li>
Performance Management: Develop and implement performance evaluation systems, assist with goal-setting, and provide coaching and feedback to improve individual and team outcomes.</li><li>
HR Policies &amp; Procedures: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, handbooks, and best practices to support a consistent and equitable work environment.</li><li>
Safety &amp; Risk Management: Support workplace safety initiatives and ensure proper handling of employee concerns and grievances.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h3><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).</li><li>
3+ years of HR management experience, preferably in an educational, nonprofit, or multi-site setting.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to train and coach managers and staff across multiple levels of an organization.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.</li><li>
Experience with HR software and payroll systems.</li><li>
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.</li><li>
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.</li><li>
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification preferred.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
