The Opportunity</b></div><div>
We are growing and are looking for a highly motivated Transportation Engineer to join our Illinois Transportation team! This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects with a collaborative, people-first, and employee-owned firm that values your professional growth and contributions.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></div><div>
As a member of our Transportation team, you&rsquo;ll play a key role in shaping roadway infrastructure projects across Illinois.</div><div><b><br>
Your responsibilities will include:</b></div><ul><li>
Leading roadway design tasks from Phase I to preliminary through final design for IDOT, Tollway, County, and Municipal clients</li><li>
Developing and reviewing plan sets, roadway geometrics, quantity estimates, and associated design documents</li><li>
Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality, innovative transportation solutions on challenging projects</li><li>
Serving as roadway project lead and providing technical guidance to junior engineers</li><li>
Growing and developing necessary skills to advance into a Project Manager role</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
A valid driver&rsquo;s license and some travel will be required.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
What You&rsquo;ll Bring</b></div><div><b>
Minimum qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (or higher) in civil engineering or related field from an accredited institution</li><li>
At least 4 years of relevant roadway design experience</li><li>
Professional Engineer (PE) license</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
The ideal candidate will also have:</b></div><ul><li>
Illinois PE or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire</li><li>
Hands-on roadway design experience with IDOT, Tollway, or local agencies</li><li>
Proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)</li><li>
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

The expected salary range for this position is $91,000 &ndash; $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and location.</i></div><div></div><div><i><br>
