As a result, a full-time position is available for a Senior Interior Designer within our Architecture South group. This opportunity is available at either our Dallas, TX or Madison, WI office.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Responsibilities include:</b></div><ul><li>
Developing unified design concepts by managing the interior design process and document development for federal, airport, and various other projects</li><li>
Coordinating with multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant team members</li><li>
Researching, evaluating, and selecting furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&amp;E), materials and finishes</li><li>
Mentoring less experienced interior design staff</li><li>
Developing presentations that communicate design intent to clients</li><li>
Other tasks as assigned.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
A valid driver&rsquo;s license and travel (approximately 20%) will be required.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
The successful candidate must have the following:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in interior design, architecture, interior architecture or related field from an accredited college or university</li><li>
At least 8 years of relevant interior design experience</li><li>
NCIDQ certification is required.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all the following:</b></div><ul><li>
Developing interiors projects from programming to completion</li><li>
Interior design of aviation and state/federal projects</li><li>
Seeking LEED or WELL certification</li><li>
Selecting appropriate materials for aesthetic, cost, durability, and sustainability reasons</li><li>
Developing scope of work/services, fees, and project specifications</li><li>
Mentoring less experienced interior design staff</li><li>
Revit and/or AutoCAD experience</li><li>
Collaborating and coordinating interior elements with architects and engineers.</li><li>
Experience or familiarity with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and reduce errors.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
