<div>Job Opportunity: Maintenance Mechanic 
Location: Meadowlark, Manhattan, KS

About Us: 
Meadowlark is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization committed to enriching the lives of seniors. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our Environmental Services team.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Repair appliances and participate in weekend on-call rotations.</li>
<li>Support the planning and implementation of maintenance operations across grounds, buildings, and equipment.</li>
<li>Maintain heating and cooling systems, inspecting for wear, leaks, and functionality&mdash;especially during seasonal transitions.</li>
<li>Apply HVAC knowledge (Mechanical Journeyman License and EPA 608 certification preferred).</li>
<li>Inspect and test fire alarms and emergency systems; maintain accurate records.</li>
<li>Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering positive relationships with residents.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Experience in HVAC systems and general building maintenance.</li>
<li>HVAC certification and mechanical licensing preferred.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.</li>
<li>Commitment to safety and resident satisfaction.</li>
<li>Must have a clean driving record, pass a drug test and become a Meadowlark approved driver.
