This consultancy specialises in:<ul><li>
Mechanical design</li><li>
Electrical design
</li><li>Sustainable design</li></ul>

Your new role
<ul><li>Deliver mechanical building services design across projects from concept through to construction and handover</li><li>
Prepare calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings for HVAC, domestic water, drainage, and associated systems</li><li>
Support senior engineers with detailed design development and coordination</li><li>
Undertake mechanical design using industry software (e.g. IES, Hevacomp, AutoCAD/Revit)</li><li>
Coordinate designs with electrical, public health, structural and architectural teams</li><li>
Attend design team meetings, client workshops, and site meetings as required</li><li>
Respond to technical queries during construction and assist with site inspections</li><li>
Review contractor proposals and technical submittals for compliance with design intent</li><li>
Ensure designs comply with current regulations, standards, and best practice (e.g. Building Regulations, CIBSE, British Standards)</li><li>
Continue professional development and actively work towards Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent)</li></ul>
What you'll need to succeed
<ul><li>A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering</li><li>
3-5 years' experience within a building services consultancy or contractor design environment</li><li>
A solid understanding of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling, domestic water and drainage</li><li>
Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and CIBSE guidance</li><li>
Experience producing calculations, specifications, reports and coordinated design information</li><li>
Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD and/or Revit,
</li></ul>Essential: Experience working on UK projects and UK building odes for a minimum of 3 years.
