<div>Traveling HVAC Install Foreman (Commercial)

Location: West Monroe, LA, includes weekly travel.

Type: Full-time permanent employment

Pay: Union position + Excellent Benefits Package and Per Diem.

This is a traveling union position with weekly travel from Monday through Thursday/Friday. Company-paid per diem is provided.

Position Overview:

Mechanical Systems &amp; Services is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Install Foreman to lead installation crews on commercial HVAC projects throughout the South. This position requires a hands-on leader who can oversee field operations, maintain project schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and uphold safety standards while traveling extensively throughout our service region.

<li>Mississippi</li>
<li>Alabama</li>
<li>Arkansas</li>
<li>Eastern Texas</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Lead and supervise commercial HVAC installation crews on projects ranging from rooftop units to large-scale mechanical systems.</li>
<li>Coordinate daily activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.</li>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documents.</li>
<li>Install, modify, and troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, controls, and related systems.</li>
<li>Conduct jobsite safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.</li>
<li>Manage manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities in the field.</li>
<li>Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions with project managers and company leadership.</li>
<li>Perform quality control inspections to ensure installations meet company standards and customer expectations.</li>
<li>Train, mentor, and develop installers and apprentices.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate job documentation, reports, and daily logs.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Minimum 7 years of commercial HVAC installation experience.</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years of experience as a Foreman, Lead Installer, or Field Supervisor.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork installation, refrigeration principles, and mechanical construction practices.</li>
<li>Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.</li>
<li>Proven leadership and crew management experience.</li>
<li>OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.</li>
<li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.</li>
<li>Ability to travel weekly and stay overnight as required.</li></ul>
