We seek an experienced WordPress Administrator to join our dynamic team at Mecum Auctions. In this role, you&rsquo;ll help keep Mecum.com updated, organized, and running smoothly. You&rsquo;ll build and update pages, add content, and ensure everything looks correct and functions appropriately. You&rsquo;ll work closely with our Website Content Manager and UX/UI Designer to bring designs to life using our existing WordPress tools and patterns.This role is ideal for someone familiar with WordPress, possesses basic front-end skills, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys maintaining a website that is clean, accurate, and easy to navigate. This is a part-time job that averages 25-30 hours per week, which can be arranged with the hiring manager. There will be some weekends involved during our live events. It is a hybrid position, you must be able to come to Walworth with some frequency for collaboration and meetings.Key Responsibilities:Content &amp; Page Updates&#9679; Build new pages and update existing ones in WordPress (Gutenberg).&#9679; Make sure content is correct, up-to-date, and follows our brand guidelines.&#9679; Help organize pages, archive old content, and keep the site tidy.&#9679; Check your work for errors before publishing.Implementing Designs&#9679; Take UX/UI design comps and build them into real pages.&#9679; Use HTML, CSS, and simple JavaScript for small layout fixes or improvements.&#9679; Follow existing templates and page patterns to keep things consistent.&#9679; Test pages on different devices and browsers to make sure everything works.Technical Maintenance&#9679; Set up redirects, retire pages, and keep URLs clean and organized.&#9679; Troubleshoot small display or layout problems in WordPress/Gutenberg.&#9679; Keep images, PDFs, and links organized when adding or updating content.Collaboration&#9679; Work with the Website Content Manager to publish content and structure pages.&#9679; Work with the UX/UI Designer to correctly implement design layouts.&#9679; Coordinate with the SEO team when updates affect search results or redirects.&#9679; Share progress, ask questions, and flag issues early.Qualifications Required:&#9679; 3+ years of experience working with WordPress (Gutenberg preferred).&#9679; Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.&#9679; Able to follow design comps and build clean, accurate page layouts.&#9679; Basic understanding of SEO tasks like indexing and redirects.&#9679; Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.&#9679; Organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once.&#9679; Good communication and teamwork skills.&#9679; Someone who wants to grow and learn over time.Why Join Us:&#9679; Be part of a leading auction company and help maintain and enhance a website that millions use.&#9679; Enjoy a supportive, team-oriented environment where innovation and collaboration are highly valued.Pay: From $21.00 per hourExpected hours: 25 &ndash; 30.0 per weekExperience:<ul><li>WordPress: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Walworth, WI 53184 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Walworth, WI 53184
