Medford Wellington is seeking an SR HVAC/R Installer who is motivated and flexible to join our dynamic team.Department: Special ProjectsReports to: Project ManagerJob Description/Qualifications:Assembling and installing piping and pipe supports for refrigeration, heating, and cooling systemsInstalling pipe for steam, hot water, heating, cooling and process systemsNew installations, equipment replacement, and repair in and on construction sites and/oroccupied buildingsInstalling, repairing and replacing refrigeration piping and hydronic pipingA minimum of 5 years of on-the-job experiencerequired! Commercial, industrial, and/or laboratory experience is preferredPerforming all work with safety as the number one priorityLicense Required:MA Refrigeration Technician License or NH Gas Fitter License preferredValid Driver&rsquo;s LicenseOSHA 10EPA Universal Certificate preferredPhysical Requirements:Lifting an average of 50lbsClimbing ladders and stairsBending or stoopingWalking or standing for extended periods of timeRegular exposure to inclement weather conditionsOperating motor vehicles and hand/power toolsAbility to handle frequent and loud noisesAbility to accept &amp;; meet deadlinesOther:An individual must show a willingness to continue to develop skills in the Plumbing and HVAC/Rtrade as part of the continued learning process. HVACR Instructor (Commercial)Medford Wellington &ndash; Training Division In-Office / Training Facility (MA) $55&ndash;$65/hour (DOE) Full-Time | Monday&ndash;Friday | No On-CallAbout the RoleMedford Wellington is seeking a high-level Commercial HVACR Technician to step into a full-time Instructor role and lead our in-house technical training program.This is not a traditional field role &mdash; this position is focused on developing and training the next generation of HVACR technicians through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on lab training, with occasional field-based teaching.If you&rsquo;re a top-tier technician who enjoys mentoring, breaking down complex systems, and elevating others &mdash; this is a unique opportunity to transition into a leadership role within the trade.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Deliver high-quality classroom and lab-based instruction in HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems</li><li>Develop lesson plans, training materials, and technical presentations</li><li>Lead hands-on training labs covering real-world HVACR systems</li><li>Teach advanced diagnostics on:</li><li>RTUs, split systems, VRF, and chillers</li><li>Commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, racks, CO₂ systems, ice machines)</li><li>Electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting</li><li>Train technicians on:</li><li>Wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and control systems</li><li>Multimeter usage and diagnostic procedures</li><li>Preventative maintenance best practices</li><li>Evaluate trainee performance through testing and hands-on assessments</li><li>Provide mentorship and technical support to developing technicians</li><li>Conduct occasional on-site training sessions in the field</li></ul>What They&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>7+ years of Commercial HVACR field experience</li><li>Strong background in:</li><li>Electrical troubleshooting &amp; controls</li><li>Advanced diagnostics</li><li>Commercial refrigeration systems</li><li>Ability to clearly explain complex systems in a teaching environment</li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills</li><li>Comfortable using computers for lesson planning and presentations</li><li>Prior teaching, mentoring, or leadership experience is a plus</li></ul>Licenses &amp; Certifications<ul><li>MA Refrigeration License (or equivalent)</li><li>EPA Certification</li><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: On the road
