Secure Healthcare Information Management provides Medical Billing, IT, and Management Services for Primary Care Physician Offices located in the Greater Lehigh Valley. Our Group is seeking an experienced individual for position which includes all aspects of multi-specialty medical billing and coding. The work location for this in-office position is our Central Business Office, located in South Whitehall Township (just outside of Allentown).Candidates for this position must be able to understand and decipher insurance EOB denials/codes and be able to follow-up on Accounts Receivable. In addition, candidates should have CPT, ICD-10, and modifier experience, as well as the ability to multi-task and communicate well with others.These positions offer a weekday, daytime schedule (no later than 5pm). Job SummaryBusy Lehighton IM Physician office looking for qualified individual to perform both front and back-office duties. The individual in this position will work approximately 38-40 weekday hours per week - no weekends! Normal days of work will be Monday-Friday, approximately 8:30am -4:30pm, with two Wednesdays per month with evening hours as late as 7pm.Responsibilities and DutiesThe individual chosen for this position will normally be handling both back-office (clinical) and front office (clerical) duties in a busy Medical Office setting. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following areas:<ul><li>Patient Phone Calls, including triage and setting appointments</li><li>Patient Check-In/Check-Out</li><li>Billing Tasks</li><li>Rooming Patients / Taking Vitals / Medical &amp; Medication Review</li><li>Immunizations / Injections</li><li>EKG's</li><li>Nasal Swabs</li><li>Assisting Physicians with Procedures</li></ul>Qualifications and SkillsTo be considered, applicants MUST have clinical experience in a Physician office setting or equivalent training. Successful applicants must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with Providers, Labs, Pharmacies, as well as with their peers.
