</div><div></div><div><div><b><i>The Accounts Payable Manager </i></b>is responsible for leading the organization&rsquo;s accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense management. This role drives process efficiency strengthens internal controls, and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and vendor satisfaction.</div>
<div></div><div><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities and Job Duties</b></h1>
<ul><li>Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice intake, coding, purchase order matching approval workflows, and payment execution</li>
<li>Ensure all vendor payments are processed accurately and in accordance with company policies and payment terms</li>
<li>Manage AP close activities, including accruals and reconciliation of AP-related accounts on a monthly basis within defined time frames</li>
<li>Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance accuracy</li>
<li>Partner with IT/Finance leadership on AP automation initiatives and system enhancements (e.g., OCR, workflow tools)</li>
<li>Maximize cash flow by identifying opportunities to utilize credit cards to process payments without fees</li>
<li>Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for AP processes</li>
<li>Develop and maintain reporting on AP metrics (cycle times, aging, error rates, etc.)</li>
<li>Provide insights to Finance leadership</li>
<li>Support cash forecasting by providing visibility into payment obligations</li>
<li>Lead, coach, and develop accounts payable staff</li>
<li>Establish productivity, accuracy, and turnaround expectations and manage team performance against them</li>
<li>Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong customer service</li></ul><br>
<div></div><div><b>Job Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred</li>
<li>5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and internal controls</li>
<li>Experience with ERP/accounting systems; familiarity with AP automation tools preferred</li>
<li>High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage high-volume workflows</li>

Supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentation will be the responsibility of this position to assure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) and/or other prevailing Accounting Standards.</div>

<ul><li>Monthly compilation of financial statements and accompanying schedules.</li>

<li>Further understanding of Brightree and its impact/flow of accounting information and suggest/implement improvements accordingly.</li>
